Jared M. King
COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE
Jared King always starts his work from a “blank canvas.” Jared carefully measures his clients’ individual needs and values — so that he may tailor legal services that fit. As Jared explains, “I offer no ‘off-the-rack’ legal counsel at my office.” The process begins by carefully listening to what his clients have to say.
Jared treats client advocacy as an intensely personal endeavor. That explains why his law practice continues to grow, almost exclusively by word of mouth. A steady determination to provide all clients with individually tailored legal guidance has earned Jared the trust of clients nationwide. In his own words, “I listen to my clients, and learn as much as I can about what they do, so that when I am deal-making, I speak and understand my clients’ language.”
Jared represents publicly traded and privately held companies of local, regional and national profile. His work includes assisting national real estate investment trusts, real estate brokers and investors, retailers and shopping center developers, as well as mixed-use and luxury student housing developers with real estate acquisitions, commercial leasing, entitlements, restrictive covenants, franchise acquisition, joint venture agreements, mergers and acquisitions as well as general operations.
Jared is a member of the Real Estate, Construction, and Business Sections of the American Bar Association and serves as a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. Jared earned his B.A. from Brigham Young University in 2003 and his J.D. from Gonzaga University School of Law in 2006, where he served as the managing editor of the Gonzaga Law Review.
When clients leave Jared King’s office, they will know that he listens, and he cares about assisting them toward realizing value-driven results.
