Dallas Theater Center’s annual production, adapted by DTC’s Kevin Moriarty (the former artistic director recently was named executive director), is also a reimagined take on the Christmas. Follow the trio of ghosts from Christmases past, present and future who visit Ebenezer Scrooge and show him the errors of his penny-pinching ways. Fan favorite Sally Nystuen Vahle returns this year to play the ghost of Jacob Marley. Suitable for all ages, the show also has music and magical spirits. Through Dec. 24

The plot involves a young Israeli woman visiting the U.S., her grandmother and a bumbling delivery driver who find themselves stranded in a hotel on Christmas Eve.
