How the Top Mortgage Professionals were selected

To produce the list we began by attempting to contact more than 8,000 licensed real estate professionals in greater Tarrant County. We emailed nomination ballots to all real estate and mortgage professionals in our database as well as to readers of 360West and a separate list of recent homebuyers in the area. To determine the Top Mortgage Professionals, we asked real estate industry professionals, recent homebuyers and magazine readers to recommend up to three mortgage professionals that they have worked with and would trust to take care of their own friends and loved ones. We checked nominee licenses for validity and disciplinary action (as available to the public) via multiple channels. Ballots which did not follow the rules for submission were omitted from the tally. Winners shown here were top vote-getters based on eligible ballots. Advertising with 360West in no way affected our determination of winners. The list of winners appears annually in the November issue of 360West as well as in sister publications 76107 magazine and 76092 magazine. We recognize that there are many mortgage professionals who are not shown in this representative list. This is only a sampling of the array of talented professionals within the region. Inclusion in the list is based on the opinions of responding entities. We take multiple steps to ensure fair voting, although we understand that the results of this survey nomination are not an objective metric. We certainly do not discount the fact that many good and effective mortgage professionals may not appear on the list.
