Spring brings Texas whiskey and sustainable seafood to Clearfork
Oak & Eden, a made-in-Texas whiskey, moves closer to its scheduled March opening in The Shops at Clearfork.
With a custom design from Dallas-based Coevál Studio, the brand expands from its Bridgeport location (less than an hour’s drive for 360 West readers). Look for The Library, a tasting bar, and the Bottle Builder program, where guests can craft their own whiskey.
Oak & Eden launched in 2018, drawing attention with its trademarked spire of oak inside every bottle. Learn more at oakandeden.com.
Next door, Plank Seafood Provisions has pushed its opening to May (it’s redoing the former Twigs American Kitchen, which closed in the fall of 2020). Plank is headquartered in Omaha; the owners also started Blue Sushi Sake Grill, a popular Fort Worth restaurant.
Plank lists sources for all its seafood as part of its Conscious Earth program. Look for a variety of oysters shipped daily and an all-day menu with plenty of surf and turf (steaks, burgers, chicken) items. Check out the concept at plankseafood.com.
