Tim Love Launches Premium Apparel Collection
By Scott Nishimura
Entrepreneur Tim Love is adding premium apparel to his broad interests that run the gamut from restaurants to music festivals, and a Fort Worth hotel.
Love today debuted the Love Collection, a line of apparel and accessories designed by Marcus Hall, owner of the Knoxville, Tenn., Marc Nelson denim brand. The Love Collection includes staples such as mens’ and womens’ jeans, womens’ shorts, T-shirts, denim and canvas trucker jackets, weekender bag, and Japanese cotton bandannas. The line is made in Tennessee. Price points range up to $175 for light wash denim jeans.
“I wanted to make jeans, T-shirts, that I want to wear,” Love said in an interview after a media preview Thursday night at his Tannahill’s Tavern & Music Hall in the Fort Worth Stockyards.
The Love Collection — described in a release as a “laid-back luxury brand rooted in the spirit of the West embodies the quality and heritage of Texas while infusing modern details and the signature style of its creator — is available in Love’s Goods and Chattels shop at Tannahill’s and online at cheftimlove.com.
“The collection is designed to effortlessly coordinate with one another, catering to creatives and entrepreneurs who share the same ambition for life and career as Love himself,” the release said.
The Love Collection is the “next evolution” of Love’s passions, he said in the release.
“I love cooking and hospitality to my core because it’s about caring for people and giving them the best possible experience,” he said.
“But I will never let one idea of who I am or what I can produce limit my imagination. Within the past few years, I’ve decided to double down on my creativity and take on projects I feel most passionate about. The Love Collection is just the next evolution of that.”
