Fort Worth Zoo

Fort Worth Stockyards

Don’t miss the Historic Fort Worth Stockyards’ renowned cattle drive, a beloved free activity occurring at 11:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily. Cowboys in early 20th-century attire drive longhorns through the brick streets. Following the spectacle, visit the Stockyards Museum, Petting Corral or bundle up and enjoy ice skating on the Rodeo Rink, available through Jan. 7.

Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo 

Step into the cowboy lifestyle at the renowned state fair and rodeo, running from Jan. 17-Feb 8. General admission is $12 for adults, $5 for children aged 6-16, and free for children 5 and younger. While it grants access to the stock show grounds, it excludes rodeo admission. Enjoy a variety of kid-friendly activities and witness thrilling rodeo events, including bull riding, calf roping, team roping, barrel racing and more. The festivities kick off with a parade on Jan. 18 at 11 a.m., showcasing over 2,000 horses and riders, marching bands, floats, and dignitaries. The parade is free, and advance tickets are available for those seeking additional experiences.
