The finishing touches are complete and this new Italian-inspired restaurant, the third North Italia in the Dallas area, has opened on the lower level of the Galleria Dallas. Like its Uptown and Plano siblings, the Galleria restaurant is a looker.

A double-sided bar runs from the front door to the semi-open kitchen in the rear, separating the pretty dining room from an adjacent covered patio. Pastas, pizzas and salads are North Italia’s main draws, but take a risk on the crispy eggplant parmesan, a shareable plate of four thick disks with a slick of spicy vodka sauce and torn basil that you’ll want to keep for yourself.
