2024 Fort Worth Food + Wine Festival: Kincaid’s, JD’s win for best burgers

Kincaid’s Hamburgers and JD’s Hamburgers took home the awards for best burgers at the 2024 Fort Worth Food + Wine Festival.

Kincaid’s won the judges’ award for best burger, and JD’s was the fan favorite at the Burgers, Brews + Blues event. Fort Brewery won fan favorite for best brewery at the burger event.

Final attendance was 6,500 for the festival’s five main events, the festival said.

The Fort Worth Food + Wine Foundation also unveiled The Kirkpatrick Visionary Award, in honor of Russell Kirkpatrick, the foundation’s co-founder and board chair emeritus.

The foundation will use the award to acknowledge innovative concepts in the Fort Worth culinary industry. The first concept will receive the award in conjunction with the foundation’s 2024 Night Market this fall.
