In the heat of a Texas summer, there’s nothing quite like the joy of a splash pad to cool your family down and bring smiles to all ages. These vibrant water playgrounds, with their interactive fountains, sprayers and waterfalls, offer a perfect escape from the sweltering sun. Whether you’re watching children delight in the playful jets of water or joining in the fun yourself, splash pads provide a safe, accessible and invigorating way to beat the heat. Here are the best splash pads and water facilities the Fort Worth area has to offer.

Sycamore Spray Ground

With various spray stations, Sycamore Spray Ground is a great spot to take the whole family. Proper swimwear is required for those playing at the splash pad, including swim diapers for the little ones. No regular diapers are allowed.

Chisholm Aquatics Center

In Chisholm Ridge Park, the Chisholm Aquatics Center offers more than just a splash pad, but a lazy river, slides and wading pools, making it an ideal location for all ages. 

Location 2200 Norwood Drive, Hurst
Hours noon-8 p.m. Monday-Friday; 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday-Sunday

Raymond Spray Park

Raymond Spray Park offers several amenities aside from their various spray stations, including a drinking fountain, picnic areas, a playground, a shaded pavilion and more. This spray park is also available for party reservations.

Watauga Splash Pad

In Texas, where temperatures can soar, spending time at a splash pad is an essential summer activity, blending relaxation and excitement in the perfect watery retreat. The Splash Pad is open to the public and has three cabanas that are available during operating hours. The season ends in September.

Location 5800 Robin Drive, Watauga
Hours 9 a.m.-10 p.m.

Marine Park Aquatic Center

The Marine Park Aquatic Center is located in downtown Fort Worth and offers a fun little splash pad, wading area and pool area. Its easily accessible location is ideal, not to mention its proximity to local restaurants and shopping. It’s the perfect spot to take the family after lunch downtown! And the kids love it when the big bucket of water pours down on them.

Hours noon-6 p.m. Tuesday-Sunday until Aug. 11; noon-6 p.m. weekends only from Aug. 11-Sept. 2.
