Doughbird, a young concept from the group behind The Henry, Culinary Dropout and Flower Child, has opened in Dallas’ Inwood Village near Lovers Lane. This restaurant’s roots grew from pizza and chicken to now include a diverse menu that caters to a wider range of tastes. The name Doughbird still reflects its specialties, but the stars here are unexpected: chicken pot pie and rectangular Detroit-style pan pizzas topped with high-quality Bianco Dinapoli tomatoes. The restaurant’s inviting atmosphere is decidedly family-friendly, making it an ideal spot for both everyday meals and special occasions.
