Take Control of Your Life, Call Carson Hearing Care Today

The staff at Carson Hearing can help you enjoy your best possible hearing, so you never have to say, “What?” again.

The professional team at Carson Hearing has a solution for everyone. Drs. Robin Carson, Lydia Sancer, Addison Wilson and Caroline Adams, along with licensed audiology assistant Aimee Plummer specialize in plans that are tailor-made to meet your needs, considering the extent of your hearing loss, the level of technology appropriate for your lifestyle, dexterity, cosmetic concerns and budget.

Quality hearing always is important, but it becomes more challenging as you age. A recent study shows that identifying and treating hearing loss in older adults has the potential to slow cognitive decline and memory loss issues by 48 percent. As an investment in your future quality of life, it is recommended that everyone over the age of 55 has a baseline hearing evaluation.

The doctors at Carson Hearing Care can evaluate your hearing and help you manage challenges, so you don’t have to miss out on family fun, conversations with friends, important meetings and the entertainment you enjoy.

Dr. Carson, Au.D., says she and her staff develop a special bond with their patients that lasts beyond their appointments. A transplanted New Englander, Dr. Carson has come to feel that Texas is her true home. She earned a masters in speech and hearing sciences from the University of New Mexico and a doctorate from Arizona School of Health Sciences.

Dr. Sancer, Au.D. was drawn to audiology because of a desire to help people hear and improve communication. She earned a Bachelor of Science in speech language pathology and audiology and a doctorate from the University of North Texas. Dr. Wilson, Au.D. says audiology allows her to fulfill her greatest goal in life, to leave people a little better off than before they met her. She earned her undergraduate and doctorate degrees from the University of Oklahoma.

Dr. Adams, Au.D. sees hearing loss as an invisible disability that impacts those who have it and their friends and family. She seeks to treat patients like family. A Louisiana native, she earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Mississippi and her doctorate from the University of Texas at Dallas.
