The 28th annual DFW Restaurant Week is right around the corner. 

North Texas’ largest annual culinary event runs Aug. 1-Sept. 1 with 39 Tarrant County restaurants participating. Select restaurants will participate in preview weekend Aug. 1-4. The “Main Week” is Aug. 5-11. Many places have opted to extend their offerings through Sept. 1. 

This year’s lineup features a number of the area’s steakhouses and other fine dining establishments. It also includes Teatro, Grapevine’s newest bistro and cocktail lounge, and Fort Worth’s Quince, which opened in March 2023.

Most restaurants are offering a three-course prix fixe dinner for $49 or $59. Some might also serve a two-course lunch or weekend brunch for $29. The Signature Experience dinner costs $99 and might include cocktails or additional courses. Reservations are accepted through OpenTable or by calling the restaurant directly. For every meal purchased, 20% will be donated to Fort Worth-based nonprofit Lena Pope. Lena Pope offers evidence-based and research-tested counseling, education, and behavior intervention programs to local children and families.

DFW Restaurant Week has partnered with Lena Pope since 1998 and raised more than $3 million. Last year, the event brought in a total of  $545,128, with $184,925 benefitting Lena Pope.
