The Modern Lights at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth

On view Nov. 29 through Feb. 9, 2025, The Modern trees will sparkle with brilliant lights to celebrate the holiday season. Uplift your holiday spirit as the tradition continues with evening viewing opportunities and free admission until 8 p.m. on Fridays. Take advantage of having dinner among the lights on Fridays between 5-8 p.m. Jett Mora, executive chef of Cafe Modern, creates a seasonal menu rooted in Texas ingredients.

Fort Worth Parade of Lights

Bring your family downtown on Nov. 24 to celebrate the holiday festivities, soak in the pre-parade music and displays, and make a full festive day of it. Beat the crowds by parking early, then enjoy lunch at a selection of fantastic restaurants nearby. There are also early bird shopping deals to take advantage of at the downtown retailers. The parade will go on rain or shine and begins at 6 p.m.
