The Gallery Stroll

The Fort Worth Art Dealers Association’s Fall Gallery Night, Sept. 10, promises a wide range of shows and new venues. Start early to hit your favorite spots and explore new ones. Here is a brief roundup of a few highlights. Check each gallery’s website for information.

The gallery offers a twofer with mixed media pieces from Texan-Venezuelan Ender Martos for his “Paradigm Shift” exhibition and, at the Love Texas Art space in Sundance Square, oil-on-canvas works by Fort Worth’s Jacob Lovett. “Blinders” is Lovett’s first solo exhibition. From 6 to 9 p.m., there will be a live screen-painting event to create limited edition T-shirts in conjunction with Printed Threads. artspace111.com

Fort Works Art

There’s a reception 6 to 9 p.m. for Rachel English and her solo show, “Vanishing Point,” a dreamy collection of skyscape oil paintings that showcases her interest in astrophysics and philosophy. The exhibition runs through Oct. 15. fortworksart.com

“InterSection” features works by Benito Huerta, who recently retired after 25 years as director and curator at the Gallery of UTA. The show is at the Byers Avenue location. At the Foch Street gallery, check out “Tipping Point,” an exhibit of sculptures by Steve Murphy. Both galleries are open from noon to 9 p.m. williamcampbellcontemporaryart.com
