The Mont welcomes 2026 with an intimate New Year’s Eve dinner

By Hannah Barricks

The Mont ushered in 2026 elegantly, inviting guests to an intimate New Year’s Eve celebration offering a decadent seven-course, candlelit dinner in the city’s Cultural District.

The evening’s menu highlighted the restaurant’s refined European sensibility with playful Texas accents, opening with a black truffle jalapeño gougère before moving to a scallop tartare crowned with caviar. The main course featured Beef Pithivier with foie gras — a dramatic centerpiece that drew audible appreciation from diners as they engaged in celebratory toasts. Dessert was a rich chocolate tart that ended the evening on a sweet note just before midnight.

Throughout the evening, optional wine pairings accompanied each course, and diners enjoyed each other’s company as 2025 drew to a close. As the countdown began, glasses lifted across the room in unison to toast fresh beginnings and celebrate Fort Worth’s entrance into the new year with polish and unmistakable culinary confidence.
