Reservations for the 26th annual DFW Restaurant Week are now open, and the choices include a few new hotspots in Tarrant County.

Over 100 restaurants around the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex are offering prix-fixe menus for lunch, dinner and/or weekend brunch. Reservations can be made starting July 10 through OpenTable or by calling the restaurant and specifying the reservation is for Restaurant Week. Menus are available for viewing on the DFW Restaurant Week website under the “Reservation” section.

In Tarrant County, the lineup includes Don Artemio Mexican Heritage, a James Beard finalist for best new U.S. restaurant this year, and Musume Fort Worth, a Japanese restaurant that opened in June in downtown Fort Worth.

Restaurant Week runs Aug. 7 through Aug. 13. Many places will extend their offerings as late as Sept. 3. Preview weekend at select restaurants is Aug. 3-6. A three-course dinner costs either $39 or $49, lunches are $24 and weekend brunch is $29. The Signature Experience Dinner costs $99 and might include cocktails or additional courses.

A fourth course can be added to dinner at many restaurants with the Fourth Course Certificate. Certificates can be obtained by spending $10 at a local FedEx Office and presenting the receipt at the register.

Approximately 20 percent of Restaurant Week proceeds will benefit the charity partners — Lena Pope in Fort Worth and North Texas Food Bank in the Dallas area. Last year, Restaurant Week raised more than $400,000 according to the DFW Restaurant Week Facebook page.
