Fairmount Historic District Tour of Homes | May 11-12 Renovation inspiration abounds on this annual tour in Fort Worth’s Southside neighborhood known for Craftsman details, Prairie-style Foursquares and Victorian architecture. There are four restored bungalow-style houses on the tour, two new homes with an architecturally seamless fit plus a bonus property under renovation. Most of the homes on the tour were originally built between 1890 and 1930, so expect to see exposed beams, colonnades, pocket doors, antique hardware and Fairmount’s signature wide and welcoming front porches. If you’d like an open-air journey between stops (and more inside skinny), know that Pedego Electric Bikes will be offering guided tours of this year’s homes. Visit pedegofortworth.com to make your Fairmount Homes eBike Tour reservation.
Details Noon-6 p.m. Tickets $15 in advance online, $20 on tour days at the Welcome Pavilion at SiNaCa Studios (also where online tickets are picked up), 1013 W. Magnolia Ave. For more information, visit historicfairmount.com.
