The holidays are the perfect time to add a little luster to your table, be it a buffet or something more intimate. From bold candlesticks to Chanel-inspired placemats, we’re dressing up for dinner.

This trio of statuesque candlesticks makes a noteworthy centerpiece. Brass column, $98; brass and stone designs, $547 for the pair. All from Sally Lynn Home, Southlake.

Slender buffet lamps hand-wrapped in leather and finished off with gold-leaf legs and finials are elegant and useful. $189; LTO, Fort Worth.

Vietri’s Moon Glass Leaf platter finished in a rich gold will elevate whatever you choose to serve on it. $68; Domain XCIV, Fort Worth.

Porcelain orchids gracefully arch above spiky metallic foliage. Set on an acrylic base, the flowery objet offers an artful change from the real things. $260, Domain XCIV, Fort Worth.

These quilted vinyl placemats look like linen but are much more food-friendly. $36 each. They’re the perfect backdrop to Italian-made Ginori porcelain. The Volière collection features brightly painted birds and rich gold trim. Dinner plate, $195. All from P.S. The Letter, Fort Worth. Complete the look with linen-blend napkins with metallic brushstroke accents, $80 for a set of four, Domain XCIV, Fort Worth.
