61 Osteria makes its debut in time for Valentine’s Day

We gave you a sneak peek at restaurateur Adam Jones’ new eatery in our January issue, but now you can see (and taste) the real thing.

The reservation book is open — dinner only — and we suspect there will be a rush around Valentine’s Day, as Osteria’s Italian-centric food and wine menu is sure to be a hit with lovebirds who love to eat.

Share a starter of wood-grilled prawns with the Texas touch of salsa verde, move on to a fresh pasta dish and finish with housemade gelato. There’s even an after-dinner drink made with limoncello sorbet and prosecco, called the Sexy Italian.

Take in the scenery, too, whether it’s the Isamu Noguchi sculpture on the outdoor patio of the First on 7th building or the thoughtfully designed interiors by Ibañez Shaw Architecture, a Fort Worth-based firm. Choose a window-side seat or one of the curvy booths under the modern Italian chandelier made up of chains in the center of the dining room.
