With spring 2023 the target date for the opening of the Omni PGA Frisco Resort, construction of the 660-acre project is well underway.

The hotel includes 500 guest rooms and suites along with 10 luxe four-bedroom ranch-style homes sited along the greens and available for rent.

Omni’s signature Mokara Spa will feature the latest amenities and treatments, and guests can choose from 13 dining options on the property. The PGA of America’s headquarters — it moved from Florida to Frisco — is just steps away from the resort, which will be a destination for golf fans, as it is scheduled to host 26 major events (there are strong rumors of a future Ryder Cup if the course performs well at the 2027 PGA Championship).

Omni Frisco will be home to what it calls a “retail village” and four resort pools. Architect/designers Gil Hanse and Beau Welling have turned pastureland into two courses, Fields Ranch East and West, working with the natural landscape and a waterway called Panther Creek.

There’s also a 10-hole lighted short course called The Swing; The Dance Floor is the putting green. Check out the website for more information.
