A drone show will replace the firework display and country star Pat Green closes out the series.

The Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra’s annual Concerts in the Garden Summer Music Festival returns in time for Memorial Day Weekend.

The festival will feature 11 concerts running May 26-June 11; a drone show May 27 will replace the traditional fireworks presentation. Guest performers include Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Radio Highway, Classical Mystery Tour and country music star Pat Green.

In past years, the festival started in June and ended in early July.

“The Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra shifted the Concerts in the Garden Summer Music Festival dates earlier this year for the safety of both the musicians and patrons, as the extreme temperatures of the usual dates caused heat-related health issues and delayed concert start times due to the heat on the stage,” the FWSO wrote in an email statement.

Each show will take place in the Fort Worth Botanic Garden. The parking lot, box office and venue gates open at 6:30 p.m., and the concerts begin at 8:30 p.m. Each show runs approximately two hours, including a 20-minute intermission.

Tickets for each show can be purchased online at fwsymphony.org or by calling the FWSO Box Office at 817-655-6000. Reserved seating ranges from $40 to $79, with a 20% discount for children 10 and under in price levels B and C. Children 10 and under can sit free on the lawn with a ticket if accompanied by an adult. Lawn seats are $28.

Parking options include valet for $37, North/South selfpark for $22 in advance or $25 at the gate, and the Yellow Lot at Dickies Arena. Prices for the Dickies Arena lot vary and are available at the gate. Shuttles will run from the South Lot to the South Entrance, and a second shuttle stop will be in the Dickies Arena Yellow Lot. Shuttle services run from 6:30 p.m. until 30 minutes after the concert ends. ADA-accessible shuttles are only available in the South Lot. An Uber/Lyft drop-off area will also be in the South Lot. Parking can be purchased in advance at fwsymphony.org or by calling the FWSO Box Office at 817-655-6000.

Concert in the Garden attendees can bring or purchase food on-site to enjoy before and during the shows. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. and shows start at 8:30 p.m.
