Crescent Hotel Notebook: Preston Paine of Food Network’s “Ciao House” will helm hotel restaurant Emelia’s; hotel taking reservations for September

Crescent Real Estate’s luxury development in Fort Worth’s Cultural District continues to draw closer to opening.
Crescent announced this week that Preston Paine of the Food Network’s “Ciao House” will take the helm of The Crescent Hotel, Fort Worth’s Emelia’s restaurant as executive chef. The upscale Emelia’s will feature Mediterranean cuisine and “an extended fine dining offering,” Blue Room at Emelia’s, Crescent said.
Reservations for the hotel are now open for stays in September and beyond, Crescent said.
The Canyon Ranch Wellness Club, owned by Crescent founder and Chairman John Goff, will open in October in the development and include a fitness center and spa. The club, which hotel guests will have access to, will feature 10 treatment rooms and a salon.
Emelia’s will be open from morning to evening.
The hotel’s lobby bar, The Circle Bar, “champions the Mediterranean mood and mindset by seamlessly transitioning from day to night,” Crescent said.
“From morning espressos to afternoon aperitivos and a rich variety of cocktails, wines, and bites from Emelia’s menu into the evening, The Circle Bar will be the welcoming social center of the hotel.”
The hotel will also sport an “exclusive rooftop bar” that “will stun, with panoramic views of Fort Worth and craft cocktails curated by expert mixologists,” Crescent said.
The development is Crescent Real Estate’s first development project in Fort Worth, its home base. Crescent will move its headquarters and other businesses, including Canyon Ranch, into an office building it’s erecting as part of the development.
“Rising at the cultural crossroads of a vibrant downtown and the surrounding neighborhoods, The Crescent Hotel will deliver a local experience,” Goff said in a release.
“From thoughtful on-property programming and culinary experiences and partnerships with renowned local museums and attractions to a curated art program inspired by international as well as local artists, the hotel experience will serve as Fort Worth’s living room — an extension of the inspired surrounding areas.”
