Eaters who haven’t tried Maiden Fine Plants & Spirits’ eight-course vegan menu yet have another option: the Near Southside fine dining restaurant, which opened late this spring, is now offering a four-course menu.

Maiden’s opening set the food scene abuzz, with its eight-course spring tasting menu at $150 per person, drink pairings at $45 per person and a recommended time of two to three hours for the meal.

The four-course menu is $90, with drink pairings at $30.

“We hope everyone will have time to indulge in our eight-course experience, but this is a great option for those who may not have that time,” Maiden said on its social media.

The restaurant, located in the new PS1200 development at 1216 6th Ave., north of West Magnolia Avenue, also has expanded its bar and patio offerings. It opened with an offering of a cheese platter available at the bar and in the outdoor lounge. New: fried parsnips with serrano aioli. “A little bite to enjoy with your favorite cocktail or beer,” the restaurant says.
