Now that The Original’s protracted negotiation with its Camp Bowie property owner is finally over, the restaurant has consolidated to its Northside location at
1400 N. Main St.

“Just a reminder! We are moving, not closing!” The Original told customers in a Facebook post. “We know you love us and you’d like to keep a souvenir but we still need our stuff!” Meanwhile, The Original has been working on a makeover to its upstairs bar at the North Main location. “It wouldn’t be The Original without our banners and jalapeño lights!”
