Fort Worth’s Near Southside has another new restaurant addition, this one the much-anticipated dumplings joint from chef Patrick Ru and restaurant broker Jeffrey Yarbrough.
Teddy Wongs Dumplings & Wine has opened in the former Le’s Wok spot at 812 W. Rosedale St.
The Teddy Wongs partners have “combined their talents to create an extraordinary drinking and dining experience,” the restaurant’s publicists said. “Teddy Wongs is more than just a wine bar and restaurant; it’s an epicurean journey like no other. Chef Patrick Ru has taken the art of dumpling making to unparalleled heights.”
The dumpling menu includes pork soup dumplings, crab and pork soup dumplings, Annie’s Sui Mai, TX Mushroom & Pork Dumplings, shrimp har gow, hot oil wontons, chicken celery dumplings and veggie dumplings.
“It’s a dumpling lover’s dream come true, where every bite is evidence of chef Ru’s dedication to the art of dumpling making,” the restaurant says.
