Evan M. McGuire commits himself to every client’s best interest from the very first meeting. Whether he is guiding clients through intricate acquisitions and dispositions, leasing operations, or day-to-day legal affairs arising from property ownership and management, McGuire continuously assists them in reaching the best outcome that benefits their future business endeavors.

McGuire is a partner at both Griffith, Jay & Michel and Thursday Law, a new venture working to integrate the law firm model with other real property services such as Title and Management. He began his law journey by attending Texas A&M University, earning a business degree. Then McGuire attended St. Mary’s University School of Law, graduating cum laude in 2013. After graduation, he was admitted to the Texas State Bar that same year and the U.S. District Court’s Eastern District of Texas in 2020.

When it comes to solving legal matters, McGuire enjoys “cracking the puzzle” to reach a mutually beneficial resolution between all parties involved. By anticipating future problems, he crafts a strategy to evade those issues, ultimately saving his client time and money. After closing, he wants his clients to feel secure, knowledgeable, and ready to handle anything that they may face.

McGuire doesn’t measure success by the number of transactions closed or net collections.

He measures it by the clients who thank him for guiding them through a complicated transaction. “I consider many clients to be personal friends, and I think the greatest sign of success is a repeat client or a referral.”
