As the year draws to a close, Fort Worth will offer a variety of exciting ways to ring in the New Year. Whether you’re looking for a family-friendly celebration, a fun night out, or a festive outdoor adventure, the city has something for everyone. Here are five of the best things to do in Fort Worth to kick off 2025 with a bang!

Sundance Square’s New Year’s Eve Party

Sundance Square is one of Fort Worth’s most iconic locations, and it hosts a New Year’s Eve celebration each year. The area comes alive with free live music, dancing, street performers, fireworks and more. Locals and visitors gather in the heart of downtown to celebrate and watch the famous Fort Worth Countdown — a ball drop at midnight, similar to the one in Times Square. With bars, restaurants, and other venues nearby, you can easily grab a bite to eat or warm up if it’s chilly outside.
