Inspired by the elegance of European late-night soirées and the romantic allure of London’s stylish Mayfair district, Midnight in Mayfair weaves together a moody palette of sapphire accents, deep jewel tones, and vibrant florals in raspberry, lime, and tangerine to evoke quiet luxury and intimate charm. At The Grand View in Mansfield, this styled shoot transforms a clean, modern venue into a candlelit haven with rich textures like velvet ribbons, layered tablescapes, and playful elements such as colorful cocktails and a vintage car, proving that even intimate weddings can burst with flair and emotional depth. Emphasizing intentional details over perfection, the vision highlights how couples can adapt timeless romance to feel personal and alive, from cozy lighting to sensory experiences like a perfume bar and live violin music. We sat down with Integrity Events Design to explore the philosophy, inspiration, and practical advice behind this dreamy shoot, providing couples with insights to curate their own unforgettable celebration.
Can you tell us a bit about yourself as a planner/designer—what’s your philosophy, and what drives your passion for creating unforgettable weddings?
Weddings should feel like a reflection of the couple. Stylish, intentional, and full of heart. For me, planning is where creativity meets logistics. I love bringing together beautiful design with a well-thought-out experience that actually works for the couple and their guests. I’m personally drawn to texture, color, and those wow- worthy details that make a space feel alive, but what drives me most is the emotional connection. That quiet pause before a ceremony starts, the first champagne pour, the look on someone’s face when they walk into a transformed room, seeing their whole planning experience come to life. I’m not chasing perfection; I’m creating moments people will feel long after the night ends.

Tell us about this Styled Shoot—what inspired the theme, and how can a couple adapt that vision to suit their own wedding style?
Midnight in Mayfair was inspired by the elegance of European late-night soirées and romance. We incorporated rich textures, candlelit ambiance, soft violin music drifting through the air, and a sense of quiet luxury that invites you to slow down and soak it all in. The name itself hints at a story, a glamorous evening unfolding in one of London’s most stylish neighborhoods, full of intimacy, elegance, and starlight.
This shoot was also a chance for our team to stretch creatively! Our planner, Hailie, brought incredible vision to the layered tablescapes and curated color palette. It was truly a team effort, and I love how each of our perspectives came together in such a cohesive way.
We leaned into a palette of moody hues, layered fabrics, and tactile details like velvet ribbons, striped candles, and wooden checkered napkin rings to create that old-world charm with a modern twist. The look is moody but never heavy, romantic but never fussy. To add personality and depth, we infused colorful cocktails in modern glassware with bold and unique garnishes. It was our way of showing that mixology can be a design element, too.
We wanted to show couples that intimate weddings can still be full of flair. Couples can easily adapt this look by focusing on a few core elements: cozy lighting, rich textures, and a mix of classic and playful details that feel true to them. Whether it’s a smaller guest list or a fun London telephone booth, it’s about curating a celebration that feels both elevated and deeply personal.

Why did you choose this venue, and what should couples look for when picking a venue to match a similar vibe?
The Grand View in Mansfield offered a clean, modern canvas that was perfect for bringing our Midnight in Mayfair vision to life. We chose the upstairs lookout for its naturally defined layout, giving us distinct spaces for a romantic ceremony setup, an intimate bar and cocktail area, and a dreamy patio just steps away. The white walls allowed our textures and color palette to take center stage, while the Edison lights strung across the patio added the perfect glow for an evening celebration. It’s a space that feels tucked away, versatile, and effortlessly inviting.
Couples looking to capture a similar vibe should seek out venues that offer a clean, versatile backdrop with distinct spaces to design around, like a separate area for ceremony, cocktails, and celebration. Look for thoughtful architectural flow, natural light, and opportunities to layer in personality through lighting, texture, and styled vignettes. A space doesn’t have to be ornate—it just needs good bones and the flexibility to bring your vision to life. Bonus points if there’s an outdoor patio with string lights to add a little evening glow and European charm.

What are the must-have details from this shoot that couples could easily incorporate into their wedding, regardless of budget?
One of the biggest takeaways from this shoot is that you don’t need a massive budget to make a big impact; you just need to focus on one intentional detail. Whether it’s a rich velvet bow, a focal flower that adds dimension, or not being afraid to mix colors. Choosing one standout element can instantly elevate your design. And never underestimate the power of great lighting—candles, string lights, or even soft uplighting can completely transform the mood of a space. It’s all about thoughtful layering, not quantity.

How did you pick the color palette, and what advice do you have for choosing colors that feel timeless yet personal?
We started with sapphire as our anchor. It’s a bold, unexpected tone that tied in beautifully with the venue’s branding without overpowering the overall look. From there, we built a palette of deep jewel tones, letting sapphire pop as an accent rather than the main character. The florals brought in layers of raspberry, lime, rich green, tangerine, and soft ivory, giving the design a moody yet fresh energy.
When choosing your own palette, start with a color that feels personal or meaningful to you, then build around it with tones that create balance and movement. The goal is to let your colors tell a story without competing for attention.

How did the other vendor’s unique contributions help bring the vision to life?
Every vendor brought their own creative fingerprint to this shoot, and that’s what made it so special. Our photographer and videographer captured the mood and movement beautifully, preserving every layered detail. The florist designed rich, textured arrangements that played perfectly with our palette. Draping and signage set the tone from the moment guests arrive, and the perfume bar added a personal, sensory experience. Our mixologist brought color and personality through signature cocktails, while hair and makeup created looks that felt soft, elegant, and modern. The live violinist brought a romantic energy to the space, and rentals helped us build out intentional vignettes with texture and structure. And of course, the vintage car was the perfect finishing touch, adding charm, story, and just the right amount of drama. It was a true collaboration where every detail worked together seamlessly.

How do you recommend brides work with vendors to achieve a cohesive look like this one without feeling overwhelmed?
Start by hiring vendors whose portfolios reflect the style you’re drawn to—and then trust them. Bring a strong vision, but leave room for interpretation. A clear aesthetic direction paired with creative freedom produces the most cohesive, memorable results. And don’t feel like you have to micromanage every element, hire a planner or designer (hi!) who can translate your ideas into a cohesive plan and communicate that to the team.

What’s one piece of advice you’d give a couple who want their wedding to feel as dreamy and polished as this styled shoot?
One piece of advice we always give couples is this: focus on how you want your day to feel, and let that guide every decision. Dreamy and polished doesn’t mean over-the-top; it means every detail, big or small, is chosen with intention. For instance, if you want your day to feel warm, welcoming, and a little unexpected, maybe that means swapping a traditional entrance for a champagne pour on the patio or adding lounge seating that encourages guests to stay awhile. Trust your creative team, stay true to your style, and don’t be afraid to add those personal touches that make the celebration feel like you. When the vibe is right, everything else falls into place.
