As the saying goes, it’s good weather for ducks. But instead of rain, we’re talking heat and humidity. Landscape gurus Lorie and Michael Kinler of Redenta’s Landscape Design eschewed a regular water feature in favor of a galvanized stock tank, complete with a pool pump and sited in their shaded backyard. The sound of trickling water meshes nicely with bird songs and provides a soothing backdrop to an evening on the patio with a cold beverage. If rubber ducks could talk, this one would say: Come on in, the water’s fine.
