Grow Plant Shop’s original location inside an Airstream on Fort Worth’s busy Magnolia Avenue left little room for shop dog Parker on the days he went to work with Taylor Mohler, his owner and the store manager. But with the plant boutique’s move to spacious digs on the city’s Westside, Parker now has room to roam throughout Grow’s extensive inventory of big and small houseplants. And being the good dog he is means he doesn’t eat or dig into the merchandise. An Australian shepherd and border collie mix, the 6-year-old pup loves the sunshine on cool days and the concrete floors when it’s warm. Mohler says Parker has become more vocal now that he is getting accustomed to the new location, which opened in February. “He loves greeting everyone who comes in,” she says. Say hello to Parker at 4800 Camp Bowie Blvd. Learn more about Grow at growplantshop.com.
