Rustic silver embellished boxes from J. Alexander are perfect for men and women. They’re right at home on an office desk or a bedroom side table, $125; M.L. Leddy’s.

A classic squash blossom necklace should be on everyone’s “things that say Texas” shopping list. This vintage 1955 piece is stunning in its workmanship and simplicity, $3,500; M.L. Leddy’s.

We love a good jean jacket and we love leather. The King Ranch Saddle Shop combines both in this design featuring all the details: metal buttons, flap chest pockets and adjustable tabs at the waist, $375.

Here’s a Texas wine that will impress even your snobby friends. It’s from Calais Winery in Hye. Owner Benjamin Calais is a Frenchman who’s lived in Texas for years. He knows grapes, and he knows what grows best in the Lone Star State. The wines are available only at Calais, and some require membership. But gift the 2016 Cuvée du Manoir tempranillo ($59.12 per bottle) to a red wine lover and expect a very gracious thank-you in return.

Dallas artist Jon Flaming captures the panache of cowboys and the Southwest lifestyle. Savior is a giclee, number 10 of 20 on archival paper, 30 inches by 36½ inches. It will look outstanding in a high-rise or a hacienda, $1,800. Flaming is represented in Fort Worth by Artspace111.
