Ally Hundley thrives as VP at Amarillo National Bank in Fort Worth by prioritizing community over profit

Eleven years ago Ally Hundley, a Fort Worth transplant from Amarillo, began her banking career as a teller with Amarillo National Bank, where she now is vice president and consumer loan officer. Graduating from West Texas A&M University, she began her career helping borrowers build credit, finance vehicles, and find solutions to stressful financial problems.

Ally has achieved the blend of personal fulfillment and professional success because, she says, “working for a family-owned bank allows me to put the customer first and build relationships along the way.”

She knew her job was more than financing vehicles the first time she helped a customer build credit and they came back to tell her they had bought their first home. Her most rewarding career moment has been when she was named Citizen of the Year in Canyon.

“Truly being able to prioritize community over profit has helped me build not only a successful career, but also give back to the places that give so much to me and my family,” Ally says.
