Flying Fish restaurants across Texas are tipping their hats to Big Tex this October with fair-inspired specials running through Oct. 18. Guests can dig into Grits on a Stick — house-made grits fried on skewers and served in a bowl of seafood gumbo — or satisfy their sweet tooth with Deep Fried Strawberry Key Lime Pie topped with cinnamon sugar whipped cream. Alongside the specials, the menu still features crowd favorites like catfish, po’boys, oysters, and jambalaya, plus cold beer, wine, and margaritas.
