Dallas chefs shine brightly at annual Burgers + Burgundy event

DIFFA Dallas kicked off its 2025–26 season with the return of its signature culinary event, Burgers + Burgundy, in October at The Village Dallas. The 16th annual celebration transformed the outdoor venue into a Western retreat, complete with string lights, denim and fringe, where guests enjoyed sliders and sipped wine in support of HIV/AIDS service organizations across North Texas.

Founded by Michelin-starred Chef John Tesar, the event united a powerhouse lineup of Dallas chefs — including Tesar of Knife, Taylor Rause of Rye, Eduardo Osorio of Meridian at The Village, and Sergio Gallardo of STK Steakhouse — each crafting a slider paired with curated wines from Times Ten Cellars and spirits by Stoli. DJ ApthOut provided entertainment, along with performers Leyla Edwards and Lechè Diamanté, who added hype to a night of style and purpose.

Co-chairs Brandon Bell and J.R. Shoman announced the 2026 DIFFA Style Council and the theme for next year’s House of DIFFA gala, “Hotel Mystique,” before guests ended the night at an after-party preview of Meridian’s newly remodeled space.
