Dallas dining gets its spotlight: 2 restaurants win Michelin Stars

The Michelin Guide favored Dallas restaurants in 2025, honoring Mamani and Tatsu with coveted One Star distinctions during this year’s Texas Selections ceremony.

French-inspired Mamani, led by Chef Christophe De Lellis, brings haute technique and understated luxury to Uptown Dallas. The menu leans on refined simplicity — think Dover sole finished in brown butter, veal “Cordon Bleu” with Robuchon’s signature pommes purée, and a pristine Paris-Brest filled with praline cream. Michelin inspectors praised the restaurant’s “faultless technique” and “world-class sauces,” noting that indulgence here is as much about craftsmanship as comfort.

At Deep Ellum’s Tatsu, guests experience a quiet omakase counter where every course is an exercise in restraint and balance. The intimate setting and artful pacing earned recognition for both the quality of ingredients and the harmony of flavors that define Chef Tatsuya Sekiguchi’s Japanese tasting menu.

Dallas also saw continued recognition for Bib Gourmand and Recommended favorites, including Cattleack Barbeque, Lucia, Georgie, Một Hai Ba, Fearing’s, and newcomer Sushi Kozy, reinforcing the city’s growing reputation as one of Texas’ top dining destinations.
