Upscale steak & seafood haven ‘Catch Dallas’ brings distinctive dishes to Uptown

Catch Dallas, an upscale steak and seafood brand, has become Uptown’s latest culinary hotspot. The menu breaks free from routine salmon and lobster mac and cheese to offer distinctive dishes like whole branzino, Allen Brothers prime steaks and the brand’s popular wagyu fried rice, where richly marbled beef is tumbled tableside with Chinese sausage and flavorful rice. Diners can also indulge in nigiri, sashimi and an array of cold dishes like crudos and ceviches, with some fish delivered directly from Japan’s Toyosu Market. The dining room sports glossy woods, a glass-walled wine cellar and a lifelike olive tree as its centerpiece. Service is impeccable, with Pappas Bros alum Ben Reynolds overseeing the cellar of more than 500 unique wine selections. This Dallas location is the eighth addition to Catch’s growing national presence, joining locations in New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Miami.
