Zeke’s Fish & Chips reopens in Fort Worth after fire

After a brief closure prompted by a kitchen fire, Fort Worth’s legendary Zeke’s Fish & Chips reopened Aug. 12, appeasing eagle-eyed locals who diligently tracked the restaurant’s progress and waited for any sign of return. Just as online buzz reached a fever pitch, Zeke’s was back, serving the same hand-battered Icelandic cod since 1971, with ice-cold beer on tap to wash it down. If you haven’t been back yet, take this as your sign to check it out on your next lunch break.
