Bowie House, Auberge Resort Collection, has unveiled a stylish new addition: American fashion house Lela Rose as the latest boutique tenant.
The woman behind the designs, Lela Rose, is Texas-born and bred. Rose grew up in Dallas and later attended the Parsons School of Design in New York. Formally trained as a painter and sculptor, Rose relishes the use of rich colors, tactile fabrications, sculptured silhouettes and handcrafted details to punctuate each line’s seasonal collections.
Her clothing embodies the convergence of elegance and femininity while maintaining a spirited independence and whimsy. Now, that signature aesthetic has found a home in Fort Worth, just steps from where Cowtown heritage meets contemporary art.
The storefront is more than just a retail opening. It’s a thoughtful extension of Fort Worth’s enduring authenticity, blending with Rose’s artful vision of a modern woman.
“I’m thrilled to be opening in Bowie House,” says Rose. “Not just because it feels like a home away from home, but also because of what a truly unique hotel experience it offers.”
The Bowie House experience — a blend of cowboy-cool sophistication and down-to-earth warmth — echoes in the boutique’s design. Nestled just off the hotel’s bustling living room, the space lives again thanks to a collaboration with Studio DB, the acclaimed New York-based design firm. The result is an immersive shopping experience full of texture, playful details, and a tactile sense of story. Like a perfectly tailored jacket or an heirloom tabletop centerpiece, every inch invites you to look and linger.
Shoppers will find a curated mix of Lela Rose’s most beloved ready-to-wear pieces, special occasion looks, and accessories, alongside seasonal décor, exclusive vintage finds, and home goods sourced specifically for Fort Worth. This is also the only place outside of Jackson Hole or Highland Park Village in Dallas to shop pieces from the Lela Rose Ranch line — a collection of effortlessly luxurious items inspired by the outdoors, gatherings, and the spirit of the American West.
“We are delighted to welcome Lela Rose to Bowie House,” says Gaylord Lamy, General Manager of Bowie House, Auberge Collection. “Her Texas heritage, creative energy, and refined sense of style align perfectly with the ethos of this hotel. Both brands offer something uniquely local but unmistakably elevated.”
This collaboration has been a long time in the making. In 2024, Rose launched a holiday capsule collection at Bowie House featuring a reversible tree skirt and hand-beaded bows in her custom Reyrosa toile, an early preview of the creative synergy now fully realized in this permanent retail space. That partnership laid the groundwork for a residency in Bowie House, a commitment to artistry, community and meaningful luxury.
Throughout the year, the boutique will host rotating seasonal drops, private styling appointments, exclusive previews, and curated programming that blurs the line between fashion and experience. It’s not just a store — it’s a destination.
The Lela Rose store will be open Sunday through Monday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
