Fort Worth-based multidisciplinary artist Dizzy Orbit crafts striking crochet masks and fiber sculptures, blending craftsmanship with storytelling to create pieces that are both visually stunning and thought-provoking. Her immersive installations feature local landscapes and creative collaborations that ask viewers to consider how masks shape perception and connection.
In late summer 2024, Orbit exhibited her work “Seriously?!” at Fort Works Art, showcasing her ability to infuse textiles with bold forms and color. She’s also known for recent collaborations such as “Human Statues on Break,” a photographic installation at Tulips music venue, where she displayed her masks. As a 2025 Carter Community Artist, she continues to teach mask-making workshops and expand her craft across Fort Worth.
