Knife Italian launches kids’ pizza-making classes at The Ritz-Carlton Las Colinas

By Michael Hiller

At Knife Italian inside The Ritz-Carlton Dallas, Las Colinas, Saturday mornings now come with a side of mozzarella. Chef John Tesar’s culinary team has introduced a new hands-on pizza-making class for kids.

Held in the open kitchen, the experience teaches young chefs to stretch dough, add toppings, and explore the fundamentals of Neapolitan-style pizza. Children use house-made dough and fresh sauces while working alongside Knife’s professional culinary staff.

Knife Italian opened in March with a menu built around handmade pasta, dry-aged meats, and a tight, thoughtful beverage list. The new pizza program arrives just as Tesar exits his original Knife location at The Highland Dallas.
