Lilly Pulitzer brings Palm Beach style to Fort Worth

By Joy Donovan Brandon

Sometimes even a Cowtown gal needs more than denim and boots. On the days you’re looking for something different, we have some good news. Lilly Pulitzer, in all its bright floral glory, has kicked into Fort Worth.

The iconic brand has opened its golden doors at The Shops at Clearfork, located off Monahans Avenue. There, Lilly Pulitzer slips in alongside other well-known brands such as Burberry, Tory Burch, Tiffany & Co. and the Texas icon, Neiman Marcus, at the popular Fort Worth shopping center.

Now in Tarrant County, Fort Worthians can shop the coastal style as easily as taking a stroll on the beach. Previously, the closest store meant a trek to Dallas, following the Southlake location’s closure after a brief tenancy. But now Fort Worth has its own Lilly Pulitzer.

Inside the light-filled and brightly colored store, the sandy-textured walls sparkle with a subtle glitter, and the Texas-sized mirrors are hand-decorated with an assortment of seashells. A Florida artist flew here to hand-paint each of the four dressing rooms’ unique and utterly Lilly-inspired walls, and add a bit of whimsy. This new Clearfork boutique is a sunny spot to try on the fun, floral designs iconic to the brand of the 1960s. The original Lilly Pulitzer’s citrus-colored shift dresses were the designer’s uniform as she worked her Palm Beach juice stand. When her friend, First Lady Jackie Kennedy, was pictured wearing the design on the cover of Life Magazine, the juicing entrepreneur was quoted as saying the fashion side of her hustle “took off like zingo.”

It could be a juice stand, country club, PTA meeting or Mexican fiestas where the iconic brand shows up in Cowtown. The 2025 version of floral frocks, trendy accessories and fun home decor are ready for Fort Worth fun, with a grand opening in late October 2025.

Hours at the new shop are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

You can reach the store by calling 817-502-6365, or email them at [email protected].
