Namo, an unassuming hand roll and sushi bar in Dallas’ West Village, has garnered a devoted following for its rustic Japanese and Edomae-style cuisine. The restaurant sources its ingredients primarily from Japan, and Namo’s menu celebrates that authenticity. You’ll find a lot to like here every night, but plan your visit for a Wednesday; that’s when the chefs roll out an exceptionally omakase experience that begins with several seasonal small plates of fish and vegetables and then rolls into nearly a dozen nigiri courses, miso soup and dessert. Reservations for those seats open on the first of each month at 10 a.m. Trust us: the experience is worth any inconvenience.
