Cousin’s BBQ owner Jeff Payne partnered with Jason Cross to open The Mont last winter, an upscale restaurant offering seasonal, globally-inspired dishes with Texas roots. Executive Chef Michael Duff (formerly of Eddie V’s Fort Worth) curated the menu for food lovers, drawing from his years in the kitchen and contributions to well-known menus across the city. Maven designed the 7,400-square-foot space at 3729 Saint Amand Circle, taking inspiration from the glamour of the 1960s with gold accents and statement lighting.
